VILLA POLICIES 

PAYMENT POLICY

​

  • All Reservations Require Full Payment of 100% upon booking.

  • Accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, UnionPay, JCB and Direct Bank Transfer.

  • Credit cards will be charged in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR) using the daily BBR (Bankers Buyer Rate).

  • Refunds will be processed in Malaysia Ringgit currency.

  • The Cedar @ Bidor reserves the right to change the prices without prior notice.

CHANGE OF DATE POLICY

  • Change of date request/notification made via email at least fourteen (14) full days before the scheduled check-in date: 10% of the total rate of your booking as Administrative Fees will be applied.

  •  Change of date request/notification made via email less than fourteen (14) full days before the scheduled check-in date: 50% of the total rate of your booking as Administrative Fees will be applied.

  • Change of date is subject to availability and rate difference (only applicable to dates with equal/higher rates)

  • In any case of changing dates where rate is higher, guests are required to make additional payment. If any case of changing dates where rate is lower, there will be no refund.

CANCELLATION POLICY

STRICT: 50% refund up until 2 weeks prior to check in

  • Booking cancellation request must be made at least two (2) weeks before the scheduled check-in date, 50% of the total rate of your booking will be refunded. 

  • No refund will be made for booking cancellation request / no-show / early departure less than two (2) weeks before the scheduled check-in date. Please note that the clause (1) and clause (2) applies to guests cancellation as well.

LIABILITY

  • The Cedar @ Bidor shall be absolved from all liabilities/claims/damages to property or for personal injury 

  • The Cedar @ Bidor is not in a position to guarantee Guest's safety against events including but not limited to accidents, personal injury, death, acts or defaults caused by third parties, acts of God, flood, theft or even acts of negligence. All activities have inherent risks to health and safety and The Cedar @ Bidor will not be responsible for any eventualities related to any activities or services booked through this website.

  • All vehicles are parked at owners' risk. The Cedar @ Bidor will not be responsible for theft or damage of the vehicle or any of its contents.

  • The Cedar @ Bidor will not be responsible for loss or damage of property left in Guest's room and/or the The Cedar @ Bidor property during Guest's stay. Guests are advised to obtain insurance to cover curtailment, and loss of luggage, personal effects, damages, personal injuries and money/valuable belongings.

  • The terms of the Innkeepers Act 1952 shall apply to guests of the Villa

  • The Villa will not be liable for any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from guests and their invitee(s) stay and all guests and their invitee(s) are advised that their stay at the Hotel will be entirely at their own risk.

  • To the extent permitted by law, the Villa does not accept any liability arising out of any occurrences beyond its control including but not limited to acts of terrorism, acts of God, flood, war, strikes, riot, theft, delay, cancellation, civil disaster, government regulations or changes in itinerary or schedule.
